After signing the franchise agreement and paying the franchise fee and development fee (if applicable), you will immediately begin receiving assistance from the International Support Team, which consists of experienced representatives from each of the departments listed below. In addition, you will be assigned an International Project Manager who will oversee our departmental support and coordinate communications and activities between our organizations.

Development Department Support

  • Assistance in obtaining site approval
  • Standard prototype plans and specifications, including interior layout and décor / equipment specification / sign design specification
  • Ongoing Development support

Culinary Department Support

  • Food and Beverage recipes and product specifications
  • Menu development
  • Culinary operating systems implementation
  • Chef assigned to support your opening process
  • Ongoing Culinary support

Marketing Department Support

  • Marketing programs and supporting collateral materials
  • Ongoing Marketing support

Training Department Support

  • Training programs for all management positions
  • Training programs for all hourly positions
  • Training program implementation at your location
  • Ongoing Training support

Retail Department Support

  • Product and ordering information for retail merchandise
  • Support in determining your retail selection
  • Visual merchandising assistance, including sales floor design and fixture layout
  • Ongoing Retail support

Curatorial Departmental (Rainforest Cafe® and T-REX™ only) Support

  • Assistance in design, implementation and maintenance of aquatic systems
  • Ongoing Curatorial support

In addition, after your location opens, an International Operations Representative will periodically visit your restaurant for on-site consultation and quality assurance evaluations. Your International Operations Representative is also available at any time for consultation on any business matter you wish to discuss.
